Privacy & Terms

Only what you type into the share form: your story, an optional gesture category, and a city and country so the act can appear on the map. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, and no names required.

Your browser also stores a small local note of which stories you have echoed, so the same reaction is not counted twice. It never leaves your device.

Every submission passes through an automated review before it is published. That review removes personal details — names, phone numbers, emails, addresses, links — and may lightly tidy the wording. If a story cannot be cleaned safely, it is not published.

Stories written in other languages are kept in their original words, with an English translation shown alongside so the whole world can read them.

No advertising, no selling of data, no tracking profiles, no third-party analytics pixels. We do not store IP addresses alongside your story.

Please share only your own experience, and please leave out details that could identify someone who did not agree to be written about. Do not submit anything unlawful, hateful, or misleading.

Published stories may be shown anywhere on the site — the map, the feed, the ticker, or in summaries of the day.
